What is VoIP?

VoIP (Voice Over IP) enables you to make phone calls over the Internet.
The calls you make with VoIP are converted into data packets, which are sent to MESSAGENET through your broad band Internet connection.
MESSAGENET routes your calls from and to the public telephone system. With activation, Messagenet assigns a landline telephone number to you (FreeNumber or SmartNumber) on which you can receive calls.
You can buy a Messagenet recharge to make calls.
You can use the same recharge to send faxes and SMS.
