ANDREA GALLI

Andrea Galli was born in 1974 in Milan, where he still lives and works.
Between 1993 and 1998, during his studies of Telecommunication Engineering at the Milan Politecnico, he worked as the system administrator for DIIAR (Department of Hydraulic, Environmental and Survey Engineering) where he developed and managed the web and email systems of the department.

In 1999, Galli worked as a network consultant for some of Italy.s most well known corporates, including HP and Banca Intesa.
Galli also oversaw the creation of the Calculation and Multimedia Laboratory, for the Physics Department of the Università degli Studi of Milan.
Galli.s collaboration with CMM2000 began in 1992 with the realisation of Telex messaging applications integrated with mainframes for important corporate companies, such as CIT and CARIPLO.
In 1995 Galli developed the web and systems infrastructure of COMM2000, which enabled COMM2000 to become one of the first Italian operators to enter the ISP market.
Between 1995 and 2000 he designed and developed the first Italian unified messaging platform to support the distribution and reception of large volumes of faxes, text messages, SMSs, telex and emails via Internet.
In 2000, together with Marco Fiorentino, Andrea Galli founded Messagenet, of which he remains a partner and managing director.
